New version 2.0 which has gone live today uses the HTML5 and native codes which mean that there will be a heavy boost in performance and rendering speed will get much more improved. Back this summer Facebook announced the native version for iPhone users which was the indication for some good news for the Android and finally they have released it.

Facebook for Android will have a completely revamped look and the time will be considerably low in flipping between pages using the application.

Google Maps for the latest iOS6 are now available for Apple iPhone. The most awaited news came online few hours back when Google Maps were shown on the iTunes page. I am sure this will be the biggest news of the year end in the technology world and will prove to be the boon for the iPhone users who were struggling with the Apple Maps.
Recently many flaws in the native map application by the Apple were the joke of the town, as it shows many prominent places missing for the world, and recently led some bikers to a snake desert in Australia.
Google maps that were made live, shows the same features as its Android counterpart.
Recently Nokia Maps were also made to download on the iTunes, which clearly shows that how the Apple regretted on their Apple maps and finally apologized not to their users but also their corporate rivals.

Apple Suggested to use Google Maps

Apple CEO Tim Cook has recently released the press statement, demanding apology form there loyal iPhone users regarding the Apple Maps which was included in their latest iOS update.
According to the CEO, he has said that Apple is sorry for the inconvenience caused by their latest mapping service, which received many bad comments, as it was almost half baked in its working and faced the same issues that Google Maps once faced in their initial release dates, and as we know, that Apple is almost on the verge on breaking all the tie-ups with  the Search Engine Giant due to their highly appreciated mobile OS Android, their no hope for Google Maps availability for the latest iOS version.

The Ending line of the Statement has also shocked , many Apple Users as he has suggested that people who are not happy with their Apple Maps, may use other alternatives, like Bing Maps or Google Maps too, using there browser service.

Well this move by them was not at all expected, but as Apple ensures that they provide the Best of all in its services, Let’s hope Apple Mapping service may increase to Google level.

How to use Google Maps in iOS 6

Apple new mobile operating system for its mobile devices iOS 6 was made public by the corporate giant just a few days ago, with many new enhancements and features like Passbook, Facetime on cellular, improved Siri, it was awesome. One of the major update in the latest OS was that it lacks the Google Map, and was replaced by their own navigation app called Apple Maps. As soon as it was made public many drawbacks were put into the limelight which were similar to that of the ones which Google Maps once had during its initial release days. But as we know that Google Maps as of now is the undefeated Champ of the Mapping World, has left many Apple users to find the ways to get the app back, but unfortunately there is no chance, and as the Apple maps rely on the Crowd-sourcing for its update as stated by the Apple, it may get a lot of time to get completely usable.

But there is a way you can enjoy the benefit of the Google map services, by using your browser.

Here is how
Go to your native Browser and enable the share location option. Then head towards “maps.google.com” and click on the book option located below the screen and place it on your icon rack, rename it to Google maps and you are done.
This is a bit like bookmarking, and till now this is the only way to get the benefit of the Google Map services, but there are rumors that, Google is upto something for the latest version of Apple iOS. Let’s hope that Latest Google Map app gets available soon for the Apple users desperately waiting for it, and does not face the same fate as was done to their Google Voice app for iOS.
